Llama Ice Cream, Rockaway Townsquare Mall, Rockaway, New Jersey
Today my friend Pat and I walked virtually Rockaway Townsquare Mall looking for Christmas presents for some of my increasingly difficult family members.. Pat was once washed-up – all her gifts were wrapped and under the tree, menus planned, cookies made, and she had probably plane cleaned her house. I am not quite as efficient as she is. When we stopped for ice cream, as we unchangingly do. We chose Llama Ice Surf in the mall’s supplies court.
Llama Ice Surf makes their ice surf in Pennsylvania and brings it to this location. They had smoothies, shakes and ice surf in plenty of interesting flavors, many with a Sputh American flair. I chose Chirimoya ice surf and Crunchy Peanut Butter ice cream. Chirimoya is a fruit that grows in Central and South America (first I heard of it) . Peanut Butter is unchangingly one of my favorite flavors.
This ice surf was sweeter than most, had a linty and interesting texture and flavors that were not strong. I usually like very strong ice surf flavors, but with the special texture and sweetness this ice surf was quite good. We both really enjoyed it.
The servers were friendly, as the lady working the mazuma register who was bad at math. Both Pat and I got when too much transpiration and returned the extra.
